✏️ Free Homework Help: Seattle Public Libraries (Seattle)
Homework Help is a lifesaver for school year chaos. Every Tuesday and Thursday, trained volunteers are available at Seattle Public Library branches to help K–12 students with homework, projects, and assignments during the school year, except weekends and school holidays.
No reservations needed, just drop in. Space is limited, but even if homework is done, students can read or play learning enrichment games with tutors.
Paid
🐛 Exquisite Creatures Exhibit (Seattle)
Price: $28+
Exquisite Creatures is nature showing off. Real insects, fish, minerals, and plants are transformed into bold, geometric art that instantly grabs kids and adults alike. No dusty displays, just pure visual wow.
Created by artist Christopher Marley, it feels part museum, part art gallery, and somehow makes learning feel cool without trying. A perfect stop for curious kids and parents who want something different.
Dining
🌳 Cedar + Elm (Kenmore)
Tucked inside The Lodge at St. Edward Park, Cedar + Elm sits in a beautiful forest just 30 minutes from Seattle, so the setting alone feels special. Ingredients come from nearby farms and even the on site garden and honey bees.
Treat yourself to Pacific Northwest comfort done right. Seasonal, local, and approachable, with flavors kids and adults can enjoy. Eat well, then let the kids run it off in the park.
