💥 Washington State Fair (Puyallup)
Date: Aug. 29 - Sept. 21

Kids can pet goats, parents can eat a corndog the size of a toddler, and everyone can leave wondering why they thought riding the Spin-a-whirl after three scones was a good idea.

Child (ages 6-12): $13

🦬 Northwest Trek Wildlife Park (Eatonville)

Northwest Trek let’s you see moose, caribou, and bison without leaving the comfort of your own car. The Wild Drive is a cruise through a free-roaming area filled with Roosevelt elk, mountain goats, and more. It’s basically a safari, but with zero airfare.
Go early, skip the crowds: Animals are way more active in the morning, and you’ll get prime photo ops without elbowing strangers.
Pack snacks and layers: You’ll be outside a lot, and Washington weather does what it wants.
Bring binoculars or a zoom lens: The free-roaming areas are huge, and the closer you can get to elk, bison, and moose, the more epic the experience.
General Parks admission
Adult (13+): $25
Youth (3-12): $17
Infant (0-2): FREE
Wild Drive - A Premier Tour: $115 per vehicle
