Free stuff

🎄 Winterfest Campus Lighting at Seattle Center (Seattle)

Seattle Center is doing it’s oldest tradition: decking out the campus alive with twinkling lights in the trees and other specialty light features across the grounds aka Winterfest Campus Lighting.

The trees are wrapped, the grounds are glowing, and the whole campus turns into a “wow-didn’t-expect-that” light show after dark. Bring the kids, grab some cocoa, and wander through a legit winter wonderland. Bonus points: it’s sponsored by Climate Pledge Arena, so you can tell your kids the planet helped pay for the lights.

The best Secret Santa gift? A Pop-Tart heating pad.

For the friend who loves cozy comfort and a touch of nostalgia, the Happy Helpers Pop-Tart Heating Pad is a sweet standout on any holiday gift list. Designed to look just like the iconic Strawberry Frosted Pop-Tart, this microwaveable cutie delivers warm, soothing relief for period cramps, sore muscles, or chilly winter days.

Perfect for your bestie, parent, sibling, or anyone who could use a little extra warmth this season. Equal parts comforting and charming, this Pop-Tart is guaranteed to be the most delightfully unexpected hit of your Secret Santa exchange!

Paid stuff

🏃‍♂️ Arena Sports SODO (Seattle)

The Inflatable FunZone at Arena Sports is a kids Vegas: bright, bouncy, loud, and guaranteed to drain their energy (minus the gambling problem). Giant slides, bounce-hoops, obstacle courses, even a mini setup just for toddlers. Perfect for drop-ins, birthdays, team parties, school breaks, or any day your house can’t survive another “indoor energy experiment.”

Dining

🥞 Ludi’s Restaurant (Seattle)

There are fewer places where you’ll hear “The line is worth the wait” than Ludi’s Restaurant by Pikes Place. Home of the famed Ube Pancakes 👆.

The food hits right, comfort dishes that can calm a hangry child or reclaim your post work appetite. Bring the family, grab some real food, and enjoy a meal that leaves you less parenting-exhausted than you walked in.
