Free stuff
🐟 Pike Place Market (Seattle)
Summer is the perfect time to bring the kids down to one of Seattle's most iconic spots. Pike Place is packed with sensory magic — from the famous fish toss to local vendors selling flowers, fresh produce, and handmade goods — and there's always something to grab and eat.
Go early: The market gets crowded fast, especially on weekends — arriving by 9am means easier navigation with little ones and first pick of the best produce and pastries
Weekly Farmers Market: Wednesday evenings, June 24th – September 9th 3pm – 7pm
Head downstairs: Most people skip the lower levels, but that's where you'll find quirky shops, comic books, and vintage toys that kids love poking around in
🚨 Bonus: we post all of the free daily events this month, check them out!

Paid
🚀 Space Needle (Seattle)
Price: $32–$42 / adults; $22–$28 / kids (2 and under free)

You’ve seen it, you’ve heard about it, it’s time to check it out! The Space Needle is the ultimate launch pad for family adventure. Take a thrilling 42-second elevator ride to the Upper Observation Deck, where the whole family can soak in sweeping views of Seattle and beyond — ferries on the Sound, snow-capped Mount Rainier, and airplanes crisscrossing the sky.
Look up: The glass-floored Skyrise rotation spins slowly 500 feet up — a little terrifying, a lot of fun for brave kids
Bundle it: The Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass share a campus — grab a combo ticket and make a full day of it

Dining
☕️ Portage Bay Cafe (Seattle)
Portage Bay Cafe is a Seattle brunch staple, and for good reason — the food is fresh, locally sourced, and genuinely delicious. It's the kind of place where parents actually enjoy the meal while kids are kept happy, which is a rare and beautiful thing.
The French toast bar is the move: Kids get to pile on their own toppings — fresh berries, whipped cream, powdered sugar — which doubles as entertainment and breakfast
Go on a weekday if you can: Weekend waits can stretch long, and a hungry toddler in a brunch line is nobody's idea of fun
