I let my kid eat 25 different snacks in one afternoon. Here’s what happened.

Let me tell you about the dumbest, best idea I’ve had in a while.

I started Kid Friendly Seattle last year to find the best family friendly events around the city to enjoy with my toddler.

Looking for events to check out, I decided to host 2 of them myself (Dads, Beers, Lego and Crochet Cafe) you guys loved them and kept asking “what’s next?”

But there’s a theme with these events, it’s selfishly the EXACT kind of event I would want to attend. (I’ll never host any events I’m not personally exited about)

Turns out I’m crazy and wanted to go bigger, MUCH BIGGER. So I created the biggest event I could think of. [Insert dumb idea here 👇]

It’s called Snack Attack

I’m gathering the best snack brands (more to come) from around the country under one roof for an afternoon of snacking. It’s like if Costco was just aisles and aisles of snack samples.

Here’s how it works, and I promise it’s not complicated:

  1. Sample everything. (Everything. That’s the whole point.)

  2. Find your new faves. The ones your kid actually eats. The holy grail of parenting.

I’m giving you first dibs at the early bird tickets before I share this with the public later today.

Three hours of tasting. 25+ brands. One very happy, very full child who will sleep like a rock that night. You’re welcome.

Expect spontaneous scavenger hunts, a local kids band, and an afternoon full of surprises.

A few details so you don’t go wondering:

  • Where: Vasa Park Resort, right on Lake Sammamish in Bellevue (free parking and stroller accessibility was a must, it’s a wonderful location)

  • When: Sunday | December 6, 2026 | 2–5 PM

  • Who: You and the kids. Everybody age 2 and up needs a ticket. Under 1 is free, because babies mostly just chill.

I ran the math on this, by the way. If you tried to sample 25+ snack brands on your own, buying one of each at retail, you’d spend somewhere north of $150 and you’d still have a pantry full of stuff your kid won’t touch. Or you come to one afternoon, let them try all of it at once, and skip straight to the winners.

Snack Attack is happening December 6, and space is limited. These venues don’t hold an infinite number of snack powered children, turns out. Tickets are going, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Grab yours now before they sell out → kidfriendlyseattle.com/snack-attack

See you at Vasa Park.
