What to expect

This weekly newsletter (will usually go out noon on Tuesdays) was made for parents who were tired of endlessly scrolling for things to do with their kids.

So I’ll break down a handful of things your family can do weekly. It will be short, easy to read and is going to be broken down into 4 parts:

  1. Free stuff

  2. Paid Stuff

  3. Dining

  4. Cool stuff and events we’ve found

Free stuff

Water works at the park

Hazel Miller Spray Park is further up north but a Seattle summer essential where the kids can go wild and cool off. It's the kind of spot that guarantees smiles and makes those hot days manageable.

  • Plenty of parking and room for a picnic, where you can safely see your kids from a dry area

  • Safe enclosed space for kids to run around

  • Huge water works - sprayers, water fall, and jungle gym for the whole family

Paid stuff

Dining

Greek dining and kids books

Cafe Arta & Pub at Third Place isn't just another spot to grab a bite; it's a vibe. This is the kind of place where the staff doesn't just serve your delicious Greek cuisine – they're cracking jokes, chatting you up, and genuinely making sure the whole family has an excellent experience. That's rare, and that's why it's a winner.

  • They have an awesome selection of books to check out, kids section too!

  • Walk away with some gelato

  • Plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the sun!

    p.s the food is incredible!

Cool stuff and events

Grub Street Pop-Up, flavor for all

Grub Street at the South Lake Union Saturday Market isn't just food; it's where Seattle's next-gen chefpreneurs turn curbside into a culinary mic drop. Every first Saturday, you're not just eating—you're investing in passion projects, flavor labs, and the boldest new brands redefining local food. Come hungry and experience the future of flavor.
