🩰 All That Dance (Ravenna) Free trial class Ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical and pop styles for ages 18 months to 18 years, plus an adaptive dance program. Fill out the trial form and staff will reach out to place your dancer in the class that actually fits their level — they're big on not throwing kids in over their heads. Tuition assistance is available. https://allthatdanceseattle.com/free-trial-class
⚽ Lil' Kickers at Arena Sports (Magnuson & SODO) Free trial class Indoor soccer for ages 18 months to 9 years, in 50-minute weekly classes built around child development milestones rather than drills. Arena Sports invented the Lil' Kickers program back in 1997. Both Seattle locations — Magnuson in the north end and SODO to the south — book free trials through the same system. https://www.lilkickers.com/location/washington/arena-sports-locations-free-soccer-class/
🥋 Quantum Martial Arts (Central District) Two weeks free, zero obligation A nonprofit community dojo with a non-competitive, empowerment-first approach — and pre-K classes ("Quarks") alongside youth, teen and adult programs. Two full weeks is enough time to know whether your kid actually likes it. They also offer scholarships so cost isn't a barrier after the trial. https://quantumseattle.org/two-weeks-free/
🤸 Seattle Gymnastics Academy (Ballard, Lake City, Columbia City, Burien, Mill Creek) Risk-free trial in any available class Preschool gymnastics starts at 18 months with a parent-participation "Learn Together" class, then moves toward independent classes at 2.5 and 3. Five locations means you can probably find one on your side of town. Equipment is scaled down to toddler size. https://seattlegymnastics.com/recreational-classes/risk-free-trial-classes/
🥋 Family Black Belt Academy (Queen Anne) Free week of classes for new students Karate and taekwondo for kids, teens, adults and whole families at the north base of Queen Anne on Nickerson Street — including family classes where parents train alongside their kids. The teaching philosophy is "progress rather than perfection," and the creed is literally about competing with yesterday's version of yourself, not the kid next to you. A full free week beats a single class for figuring out whether it sticks. https://www.familyblackbeltacademy.com/new-students
💃 Eastside Dance (Redmond & Kirkland) First class free for new dancers Ballet, hip-hop, tap, jazz, cheer, K-pop and contemporary for preschoolers through teens, with two studios across the street from each other in Bridle Trails. Every new dancer gets a free trial specifically so you can confirm the level is right before committing. Beginners are explicitly welcome at every age. https://eastside-dance.com/
🏊 Goldfish Swim School (Factoria, Bellevue) Free trial lesson Year-round indoor swim lessons for ages 4 months to 12 years in a 90-degree pool, with a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio and safety skills built into every week. New families get a free trial lesson, and there's a free swim assessment to figure out the right level first. Located near Factoria Square Mall. https://goldfishswimschool.com/bellevue/programs/free-intro-to-goldfish/
🥅 Lil' Kickers at Tacoma Soccer Center (Tacoma) Free trial class Same program as the Seattle arenas, at a family-run facility on East Bay Street. Classes run 18 months through 9 years, with the Skills Institute track picking up for ages 5-12 who want real technical coaching. Book the free 50-minute class online before committing to a season. https://www.lilkickers.com/location/washington/tacoma/tacoma-soccer-center/free-trial-class/
🎵 Sunshine Music Together (West Seattle, Queen Anne, Magnolia, Green Lake, Capitol Hill) Free demonstration class Award-winning music and movement classes for newborns through age 5, with a grownup along for the ride — songs, rhythm rhymes, movement and instrument play. Free demos are for families new to the program and require registration, and they fill fast. Rhythm Kids extends the program to ages 5-8. https://www.sunshinemusictogether.com/demos.aspx
🥷 Urban Warriors (Tukwila) Free demo class and tour Ninja training that blends martial arts, parkour and gymnastics for ages 6-12, teens and adults, 15 minutes south of downtown. The free demo includes a 1:1 facility tour and an actual session on the obstacles. 5-star rated on both Google and Yelp. https://www.urbanwarriors.ninja/demo
🦶 Seattle Taekwondo Academy (Normandy Park) First class free Juniors class for ages 5-10 runs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at the Marvista School gym, followed by teens and adults. Master instructors Scott Craig and Susan McCall have been teaching together for over 30 years. Claim the trial class online before you show up. https://www.seattletaekwondoacademy.com/claim-1-free-trial-class
