Friday - June 5

  • season opener for this market, running 3 to 7 p.m. at 67th and Phinney. Expect peak-spring produce, flowers, prepared food, and a relaxed neighborhood feel that's easy to fold into the late afternoon.

  • Drop-in public skate at the Kraken's north-Seattle complex runs at set session times on Friday — check the drop-in calendar for the exact slots that day. It's a reliable indoor outing whatever the weather, on NHL-quality ice.

  • three veteran acrobats spin a 90-minute, all-ages show of rope acrobatics, Cyr wheel, hand balancing, clowning, and even live baking.

  • Opening day of the show at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, with more than 400 pinball machines and classic arcade games all set to free play once you're in the door.

🥬 Madrona Farmers Market (Madrona)

  • a friendly, walkable market with farm stands, bakers, and ready-to-eat options. Smaller than the big-name markets, which makes it manageable with little ones.

  • open skate runs 6:30 to 11 p.m. at this longtime Lynnwood rink, with a DJ, lights, and a wood floor that's seen generations of birthday parties. Reservations are recommended on weekend nights

  • Price: $16, skate rental included

  • 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Broadview Branch hosts a story time plus hands-on art and play for ages 2.5–5. It's capped at about 15 families, so it stays cozy and easy to manage with little ones.

  • Downtown Everett's beloved garden party opens Friday with rows of garden art, local plants and flowers, handmade outdoor goods, food trucks, and live music along Colby and Hewitt.

🌟 Paramount Park Stargazing (Shoreline)

  • Experienced astronomers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) volunteer their time and telescopes and binoculars to share with the public.

  • Taproot Theatre's Road Company presents a free public performance of one of its bullying-prevention touring shows on Saturday, June 6 at 9:30 AM at the 14th annual PhinneyWood Pride Rainbow Hop.

  • Snohomish's Premier Baby Farm Animal Festival! This popular event offers guests a more personal experience with the baby goats, lambs, calves, chicks, ducklings, rabbits, and more!

  • Join us for a FREE youth-focused event filled with aviation education, impressive aircraft displays, military planes, and delicious food vendors.

  • Residents and visitors will have opportunities to observe birds in their native habitats, and learn about ways in which habitat for birds and other wildlife can be preserved and restored in urban and suburban areas.

  • Come see an extensive display of police cars, motorcycles, and specialty police vehicles!

🥬 West Seattle Farmers Market (West Seattle)

  • with farm stands, bakers, flowers, and ready-to-eat options. It's spacious and easy to navigate with a stroller. Grab lunch from a vendor and let the kids sample their way through.

Sunday - June 7

  • This Birthday Bash is all about honoring the journey, from the pups we’ve saved to the community that’s made it all possible. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are just getting to know us, we’d love to celebrate together.

  • In our 3rd season in the USL, West Seattle Junction FC has become a local hub where families, friends, and soccer enthusiasts gather to celebrate local soccer in Seattle while enjoying an exciting outing close to home that provides fun, community and connection.

  • The Seattle International Dance Festival lights up Seattle June 6–14 with over 25 dance groups from Africa, Asia, and North America delivering some of the most electrifying contemporary work of the year.

🇵🇭 Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival (U Village)

  • The festival commemorates the anniversary of Philippine Independence with the word ‘Pagdiriwang’ meaning ‘festival’. It offers a glimpse of Filipino heritage and culture through music, dance, arts, history, literature, and crafts.

  • Beatwalk features free live music from June to September, both in venues and on the streets. Every second Sunday, June through September, we host a free, family friendly, art-walk style concert series. On the first Sunday in June we host a Pride event at the Ferdinand Festival Street.

  • Discover Seattle’s ever-evolving waterfront on a guided walking tour – with optional scavenger hunt, that traces its transformation from Coast Salish homelands to today’s vibrant civic shoreline. Guests explore public art, parks, and the new Waterfront Park while uncovering the cultural, ecological, and historical forces that shaped the city.

  • Weekend Family Workshops: hands-on, family experiences investigating science, engineering, and aerospace topics in fun and surprising ways. Held on Saturdays and Sundays. Actual dates & times vary and are subject to change. Please check upon arrival for the day's workshop.

  • Seattle’s sweetest trip. Climb aboard the Fremont Avenue at Fisherman’s Terminal for the Ice Cream Cruise. We set out on a 45-minute trip along the Lake Washington Ship Canal to Lake Union, for a narrated tour of this unique and vibrant waterway.
