🎭 Kaleidoscope Dance Showcase (Capitol Hill)

  • Young dancers ages 7–17 perform original choreography by local and national artists at Broadway Performance Hall. A full evening of professional modern dance with festival seating — first come, first served. Curtain at 7:30pm, running Friday through Sunday.

  • Filipinos and Washington’s Waterfronts is an exhibit consisting of ten free-standing panels and a complementary website that highlights the stories of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans along Washington’s shores. Developed in partnership between the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) and Maritime Washington National Heritage Area, the exhibit uses historical and modern-day images, firsthand accounts from community elders, and new original research to explore the many ways in which Washington’s Filipino community is connected to and by water

📚 Seattle Art Book Fair (Seattle)

  • SABF is a free annual festival that celebrates independent publishing, book design, and artist books. The nonprofit event hosts local, national, and international artists, designers, and organizations and includes exhibitors, talks, workshops, and art installations.

  • Please join us on for our monthly Paramount Park Star Party in nearby Shoreline! Experienced astronomers from the Seattle Astronomical Society (SAS) volunteer their time and telescopes and binoculars to share with the public. Everyone is welcome including families with children.

  • More than 30 local flower farmers take over the Market with buckets of seasonal blooms for Mother's Day weekend — 11 AM–4 PM Saturday and Sunday. Free to browse; flowers sold by the stem and bouquet. Live music on the cobblestones and the usual Pike Place chaos make it a great family outing even without buying anything.
